The dual-rotor configuration of the ROTODUE 4M – 4MXP – 4GX – 4GZ hammer mills offers attractive advantages:
- It doubles, for the same mill width, the volume of the grinding chamber and the discharge area of the screen. The result is increased production and flow rate of hot gas for drying.
- High peripheral speeds can be maintained.
- By appropriately choosing the type and arrangement of rotors and feed port, the mill can be adapted to many applications, even with relatively abrasive materials.
- Ideal for obtaining products smaller than 0.5 to 3 mm. depending on installation and operating conditions, with polyhedral granule shape.
- Fine grinding of friable materials of medium hardness and abrasiveness.
- Possibility of simultaneous drying by hot air input.
- Sturdy construction and easy maintenance.
- Production of fine limestone and dolomite powders and sands for glassware, premixed mortars, plasters, and agglomerated floors with resin or cement (0-3 mm) (0-8 mm)
- Milling clays for production of roof tiles, bricks, rustic drawn floors
- Especially suitable for grinding with simultaneous drying(ESSICOMACINATION) of wet products with moisture content 4-8% (depending on raw material)
