Applications:
The Rotodue 4C mill with air selector is suitable for the production of ventilated powders (filler), in the range between 0 and 100 ÷ 300 microns, with d50= 10 ÷ 40 microns. The fineness is easily adjustable by varying the speed of the Dynamic Classifier.
Since in this version the discharge of the ground product is by pneumatic means, the mill is particularly well suited for operation with hot air input.
This allows for partial drying of wet materials during grinding, with strong economies of plant, space and operation compared to the solution with separate dryer before grinding.
Construction characteristics
- Mill body made of thick welded sheet metal, fully protected inside by replaceable wear plates.
- Main lids can be opened with hydraulic device for easy access to grinding parts
- Bearings outside the machine enclosed in dust-tight, grease-lubricated housings
- Toothed armatures made of wear-resistant steel
- Standard disc rotator with oscillating hammers
- For heavy duty, XP-type rotaries with drum rotor and fixed hammers are available
- Cast hammers made of high chromium alloy
