The Oscillating Armor Impact Mill belongs to the category of hammer mills. Compared with these, it offers the following advantages:
- Less wear and tear on armor and hammers.
- Reduced production of fine dust.
- Impossibility of clogging even with wet materials, being normally without a grid.
- Ability to feed large-sized and/or uneven materials.
- Welded steel plate casing, fully protected by wear-resistant steel armor.
- Large-mass rotor on which 4 hammers, cast in chrome alloy or manganese steel, are mounted.
- Construction of great strength and compactness.
- Great ease of maintenance.
- Minimal wear and tear cost.
- Small footprint.
- Ability to adjust the grinding size by varying the position of the armors and the rotation speed.
- Impossibility of clogging with wet materials.
- The mill can be supplied with a bar screen to obtain products with controlled grain size, limited to sufficiently dry materials.
