Twin-shaft paddle mixer

Definition of mixture: is the process that disperses the components to be mixed so that each small volume of mixed product contains all the components in the established proportion.

The TP MIX mixer, properly employed with suitable accessories, makes it possible to:

• Add and disperse solid or liquid ingredients in small percentages, on the order of p.p.m.
• add solid or liquid fats
• add liquids with high viscosity
• Coating pelletized or grain materials
• create agglomerations
• add fibrous components
• cool

Construction characteristics:

• Standard construction in carbon steel sheet. Full or partial stainless steel construction on request.
• Special constructions for abrasive materials with replaceable protection plates for the bowl and paddles.
• Welded execution. The end walls of the tank can be in flanged execution.
• Bearings outside the mixing chamber.
• Seals with stuffing box or, on request, with air flushing.
• Control with speed geared motor and chain drive.
• Large drainage ports at the bottom allow:
  • rapid discharge without segregation
• Large side doors for inspection and cleaning
• Low energy consumption for low operating cost
• Low speed of blade rotation:
  • Gentle mixing action, suitable for fragile materials
  • minimal wear and tear
• Simple and robust construction with standard mechanical components
